Mount Roskill Grammar School is one of the most ethnically-diverse schools in New Zealand, with pupils from over 70 countries. For 24 years, they have had a peer mediation service, training students in peaceful conflict resolution as part of a school-wide philosophy of restorative justice. They also have a wide range of student-led social justice initiatives. This is their Story of Peace.

The Reverend Dr. George Armstrong has spent his life working for peace and social justice. He is an Anglican Priest based in Auckland, Aotearoa-New Zealand. In the 1970s and 1980s, George established and helped to lead the Peace Squadron, a citizen protest movement to oppose and disrupt visits of nuclear armed war ships to New Zealand, contributing to the broad social movement that helped create a nuclear free New Zealand in 1984. This is his Story of Peace.

Commander Robert Green (British Royal Navy, Retired) spent 10 years navigating nuclear attack aircraft in the British Royal Navy. Now retired, he has spent decades studying the theory and strategy of nuclear defence from his unique, insider's perspective. He now believes that nuclear weapons and nuclear deterrence have no place in any rational, moral or civilised defence strategy. This is his Story of Peace.
