Nuclear war remains possible, and could cause catastrophic, global climate change almost overnight.

At the same time, climate change is making nuclear war more likely, and the military industrial complex in which nuclear weapons are embedded are among the largest producers of climate emissions on the planet.

So to be effective, climate action needs to address the connection with nuclear threats and harms.
